Hi Guys,
Just returned from playing a KO this afternoon and wanted to update you about course conditions.
The course is in excellent condition with no casual water (except bunkers) and buggies were in use as normal.
Some bunkers have been pumped out and raked but many of them have copious amounts of water. If there is much overnight rain they may be GUR tomorrow in which case you drop outside at the NEAREST POINT OF RELIEF NOT NEARER THE HOLE. If they are in play then you MUST DROP IN THE BUNKER AT NEAREST POINT OF RELIEF. This should normally be no nearer the hole unless there is no other place to drop.
If the weather turns nasty and play has to stop then no entry money will collected UNLESS all groups played at least 9 holes. In this case results will be based upon the number of holes played by the last group. Anyone leaving the course because they didn’t want to play in the rain will be expected to pay their entry money if this is paid by others.
I hope this clears things up a little, it is important that we all play to the same rules.
