If you are expecting to be in the draw for SWC on Thurs 6st can you please check your entry on the website.  This is particularly important if you are sharing a buggy, as the proshop need to know who you are sharing with as indicated on the draw.  If your entry is incorrect or missing you may not be entered.

We have a problem (again) with buggies this week.  We have asked for 7 but only 4 are available.  If you haven’t pre-booked contact the proshop and check if there is one available.  If you are then unable to walk can you please let me know.  If you need a buggy be sure to pre-book or one may not be available.

 

We have 26 playing tomorrow including 3 guests hence the 8 minute intervals.  Check your teetime carefully.

I sent this out about an hour ago but it never appeared in the draw section, though it did appear on the home page.  Looking closer I noticed I had used {} when I should have used []. 

 

Excellent turnout this week with 12 runners and 12 riders, all members.  There seemed to be a mix up with buggies but after calling the proshop they assure me we have 7 buggies reserved, so problem solved.  I suggest that you book your buggies as early as possible to avoid confusion.

This is a reminder that this week we are decanting to the “Ken Troika” (AKA Castle) in Mandria after the game, where the usual shenanigins will take place.  You should make your way there straight after the game.   If you intend to play SWC on Thursday can you check today that you have entered via the website.  Mike B tells me he is expecting around 20, at the moment we have only 17 entries, some of whom are not going to Mandria after.

 

BTW I may have mislead you with my results roundup last week.  To clarify, your first drink will be from SWC Kitty and the second from Mike Burrell as his birthday drink.  The cost of your meal does NOT include a drink.

We have 10 in buggys plus  7 walkers with a number of early or late teetime requests, making the draw complicated this week.  Thus I have put out a 2 ball buggy at 8.00, if you are being held up too much we will call you through.  The alternative was single walkers with a buggy which no one really wants.   (Its good to be back – I think?)
