We have 10 members in buggys plus only 3 hardy walkers so I have made 2 fourballs of buggys either side of a group of 3 walkers (didn’t want the walkers to get left behind).  Myself and Terry will lead the way trying not to go too quickly.  Rob and George I have put you down to share a buggy.  Should be home by noon.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome back Mick Mason to the fold.

 

Buggies, as mentioned last week I have pushed some of the buggies up the order.  This has meant that 2 people are walking alone with a buggy, I will ensure that this does not happen 2 weeks in succession.  It will help considerably if when you enter, you tick the box if you are taking a buggy.  I can then try to pair you with someone else in a buggy which will save you both money.

16 members and 1 guest so:          3 – threeballs and 2 – fourballs.  Another late withdrawal sees Mike Burrell added to the ever growing sicklist as he had a fall and hurt his kidneys.  I have advised him to take more water with it in future. 

 

I think I need to look at promoting the buggies up the order as it doesn’t seem fair that they are always out last.  The problem is that they need to be in a fourball or someone has to walk alone.  As the weather gets hotter it is likely that we will see more buggies.  Watch this space.
